Sub-Tier Supports
Sub-tier support for NCG can be in the form of providing Project Management training such as PMP® or CAPM® Exam preparation and review. Support has also been provided in the areas of curriculum development, negotiations with the end-customer, or simply as a content expert on proposal development initiatives. In some cases, we may be tied in directly to executing the deliverables.
As an example of how the seemingly small role a content expert may be the difference between a successful proposal outcome and a failed outcome, Fortune 100 company was clearly in jeopardy of losing a longstanding multiyear contract that was up for renewal but plagued with past performance issues related to work execution and customer service. All "signals" made it clear that the incumbent organization had created a situation for themselves considered fatal. The big question was whether or not they had learned their lesson too late? Bringing in an expert whose background and credentials lent credibility to content, was important. Equally important was the need to demonstrate in the proposal content a background of both practitioner and practical experience. The inputs in the proposal dealing specifically with the areas of Project Management and Quality Management indeed were said to have made the difference and the contract was subsequently renewed.
As a final thought here, integrity is very important to us. If you have received a proposal that includes NORTHPOINT Consulting Group, LLC or the resume of Dr. William Yates, please feel free to contact us to verify the authenticity of inclusion in the active proposal, or subsequent status on a proposal accepted and in life. "Bait and switch" is not an act of integrity, and customers deserve an honest approach.
